Allied Health Courses Without NEET in Delhi NCR 2026: Colleges, Admission and Fees
Yes, students can apply for several allied health courses in Delhi NCR without a NEET-UG score in 2026. Major options include BPT, BOT, BMRIT, BAOTT, BMLS, BMLT, Optometry, BASLP and selected cardiac, dialysis and emergency-care programmes.
However, without NEET does not always mean admission without an examination. Depending on the college and course, selection may use Class 12 merit, normalized PCB marks, university counselling, CET, CUET, AIIMS’ own entrance examination or a university-specific test.
For BPT and BOT, the proposed nationwide NEET-UG requirement was deferred until the 2027–28 academic session. Institutions can still prescribe their own merit or entrance process for 2026–27. This position is reflected in GGSIPU Notification No. 13/2026.

Course titles can differ between institutions. Before applying, confirm whether the final qualification is a BSc, BMRIT, BAOTT, BMLS, BPT, B.Voc, diploma or certificate.
Allied Health Colleges and Admission Routes in Delhi NCR
This is a profile-based shortlist, not an artificial universal ranking. Suitability depends on your chosen course, Class 12 subjects, marks, entrance status, domicile, budget, clinical-training expectations and preferred location.
Government and Public Allied Health Options
AIIMS New Delhi
AIIMS is an important option for students seeking hospital-based allied health education without using NEET for the applicable BSc allied-health admission route.
Relevant programmes have included:
- Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology
- BSc Operation Theatre Technology
- Bachelor of Optometry
- Other allied and healthcare programmes notified for the session
Admission is through AIIMS’ own BSc Allied & Health Care examination and online seat allocation—not through NEET-UG for these notified courses. Students should follow the relevant course notice and examination cycle shown in the AIIMS 2026 examination calendar.
Best suited for: Students prepared for a competitive entrance examination and seeking intensive clinical exposure.

Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University
DPSRU is a major Delhi public-university option for BPT and BMLS applicants.
BPT at DPSRU
The published 2026–27 prospectus states:
- Duration: four academic years plus one compulsory internship year
- Intake displayed: 50
- Eligibility: Class 12 PCB with English
- General-category requirement: 50% PCB
- Applicable reserved-category requirement: 40% PCB
- Minimum age: 17 years by 31 December 2026

BMLS at DPSRU
The prospectus states:
- Duration: six semesters plus one compulsory internship year
- Intake displayed: 90
- Selection: Class 12 merit
- Minimum age and medical fitness requirements apply
The general application deadline was extended to 10 July 2026 and has passed. Applicants should now check the applicable merit-list, counselling or vacancy stage. The programme and fee facts above were verified against the DPSRU 2026–27 prospectus.
Best suited for: Students seeking a Delhi-based public-university course through Class 12 merit rather than NEET.
GGSIPU Allied Health Admission
GGSIPU uses different admission routes for different allied health programmes.
For 2026:
- The proposed NEET route for BPT and BOT was removed after the national requirement was deferred.
- BPT/BOT and the notified BASLP, BPO and BMLS group use the applicable common CET/merit process.
- BMRIT under programme code 134 uses CET as the first admission preference and CUET as the secondary route under the published framework.
- Counselling, open-house and management-quota stages may have separate notices.
This makes GGSIPU a no-NEET route, but generally not a no-examination route.
Best suited for: Students who want Delhi or GGSIPU-affiliated options and have completed the correct CET/CUET application.
Important: An application for the wrong programme code may not make a student eligible for another allied course.
ABVMU Class 12 Merit Route
ABVMU’s 2026 bachelor admission portal is labelled CAHET, but bachelor merit is not based on a separate CAHET entrance-test score.

Important eligibility rules include:
- Minimum age of 17 years by 31 December 2026
- PCB students can apply for the notified allied bachelor’s courses
- General and General-EWS applicants generally require 50% PCB and a pass in English
- Applicable SC, ST, OBC-NCL and PwD applicants generally require 40% PCB and a pass in English
- Open-school and NIOS candidates can be considered when the required science subjects and English have been completed
- Medical fitness is required
- Government-college applicants require UP domicile or must have passed both Classes 10 and 12 in Uttar Pradesh
- Marks from different boards are normalized before merit preparation
GIMS Greater Noida

- BAOTT: 60 seats
- BMRIT: 60 seats

GIMS can be relevant for students seeking a Greater Noida hospital-based option through board-mark merit and counselling.
PGICH Noida
The round-one matrix displayed:
- BAOTT: 20 seats
PGICH may suit students specifically interested in anaesthesia and operation theatre technology in Noida.
Santosh, Ghaziabad
The round-one matrix displayed:
- BPT: 60 seats
- BOT: 60 seats
- BMRIT: 60 seats
- BMLS: 60 seats
Santosh participates in the ABVMU counselling route for these listed programmes. Do not assume that an allied course absent from the matrix is available through the same process.
Private Allied Health Colleges Without NEET
Private institutions can provide a wider choice of courses and later application opportunities. However, “NEET not stated” must not be interpreted as an unconditional seat offer.
Always request the current selection rule and fee schedule in writing.
Noida International University, Greater Noida
The reviewed 2026–27 course and fee pages list:

HRIT University, Ghaziabad
HRIT can be considered by students seeking Ghaziabad-based options.
The current faculty information lists BPT and several allied or vocational programmes related to:

- Operation theatre technology
- Radiology and imaging
- Optometry
The BPT route uses the HRIT National Aptitude Test or HNAT. Therefore, it may be a route without NEET, but it is not necessarily a route without an entrance test.

These can be useful vocational options, but a B.Voc in Physiotherapy is not automatically the same qualification as BPT. Similarly, B.Voc Radiology, B.Voc OTT and B.Voc MLT must not be presented as BMRIT, BAOTT or BMLS without documentary confirmation.
Students should compare the exact award, internship, higher-study eligibility and professional-registration position.
A 2026 Admission Conflict Students Should Know
Do not classify a college as “without NEET” based only on an advertisement or one isolated web page.
For example, specific Amrita Faridabad BAOTT and BMRIT pages referred to AEEL 2026, while the central AEEL page stated that allied-health admission would use NEET 2026. Until the institution provides consistent written course-level clarification, these programmes should not be treated as confirmed no-NEET options.
Similarly, one university may have different rules for different allied courses. A college offering one course without NEET may require NEET for another course. Jamia Hamdard’s current BAOTT admission rule is an example where students should not assume a no-NEET route.

- Government-college admission has an additional UP domicile or UP schooling condition.
- Merit is normalized across boards.
- No separate bachelor CAHET entrance-test score is used.
DPSRU Eligibility
BPT and BMLS use PCB-based eligibility and Class 12 merit. The published prospectus includes age, English and medical-fitness requirements.
GGSIPU Eligibility
Eligibility is programme-specific:
- BMRIT can accept the notified PCM, PCB or PCMB combination with English under the published programme rules.
- BPT, BOT and other paramedical programmes have separate subject and CET conditions.
- Completing one CET does not automatically make a student eligible for every programme code.
