M.Tech admission at IIT Tirupati is based on GATE scores. Candidates must first apply for the GATE exam and secure a valid score. For M.Sc and MPP students, the institute provides a Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to 25% of students with INR 1,000 per month and a tuition fee waiver. The Free Studentship covers tuition fees for 10% of students. Those with at least 6.5 CGPA and parental income below INR 4.50 lakhs per year can get a 50% tuition fee waiver under the 50% Free Studentship.
